KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Systems support including but not limited to availability, performance and reliability all on-premise IT systems infrastructure.
• IT Infrastructure optimization to ensure optimal infrastructure performance.
• Administration of Virtualized environments including VMware and Redhat Virtulization platforms.
• Implementation of security best pracitce including patch management of operating systems with databases using tools approved by the organization.
• Manage Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Prepare documentations and specifications
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.

The Person 

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or other IT/Engineering related Degree. 
• Must have Professional Qualifications IT fields such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years' Experience Area in at-least one of the following areas: Operating Systems and storage Administration, MS SQL database administration, and Server Virtualization and administration.
